Please come by.    The City room has memorabilia & pictures of Cisco's development as well as area places such as Putnam & Thurber. There are maps of the city of Cisco (1883, 1886, 1891, 1896, 1902, 1907, and the 1920's) The maps show locations of businesses, the viaduct, public schools, and Cisco Junior College. A 1912 telephone used in an oil office is on display.

    The Safe contains; Cisco newspapers from 1918 to 1975; Cisco weather information recorded by Red Owens from 1946 to 1980; Cisco Federated Women's papers from 1915 to 1990; the Terrell collection of material about the Spider Rock Mystery which was discovered in 1905.

   In the “City” room there are two antique spinning wheels. The larger one was used for spinning wool and cotton thread and dates to about 1780. The smaller one was used to spin flax into linen and it dates back to the early 1800’s There is also a spinning loom.
