The Archeological room has some prehistoric items, & indications of the Spanish presence. The room has an extensive collection of metal detectors. There are artifacts found by the Southwest Searchers at Camp Salmon on the western border of Eastland County. The French dress armor and helmet on display here is on loan from Allen McDaniel
The Rotan Spider Rock is on loan to the museum and is displayed in a case below the metal detectors. Treasure maps are painted on the north wall of the room.
